I have just received an email of Ivan from Worldwide telling me that he will release a new T-Shirt. This time starring is the infamous Amy Winehouse mixed with the dead Sex Pistols bass player Sid Vicious.
Abuse, use, and all the cliches that some of todays youth are on these days. This tee is just a call out to what happens when you play with dangerous stuff…. Amy is the new Sid.
Worldwide is accepting orders this week only. Shipments will be 1st week of august.
Sizes from S to XL. Color black.

I am back home in Germany again after a 5-day trip to Barcelona for the Bread&Butter Tradeshow. Sorry for not having updated on a daily basis but without uploading pics I think it would have been a lot less interesting for the readers of our blog.
Our creative head Huy could not attend the show since he was in Hong Kong but thanks to Khaled and Larissa I didn’t have to handle all the stuff on my own.
I had already posted about the first day in BCN so I will begin with the second day in the city of dreams. After a short night in a damn hot room we woke up pretty early to get some painting stuff for our booth. So we headed towards Placa Espana where the tradeshow is taking place at a really huge and picturesque location with a palace in the background.

On our way to our place we saw the Reebok crew setting up their booth which was just a couple of squaremeters bigger than our booth.

Our booth was even smaller than the ice cream trolley on the Reebok booth but who cares since we had less work setting up the booth.

All we did this day was painting our booth wall and chatting with our neighbors from YeahBoy Department straight out of the Schanzenviertel in Hamburg, Germany.

That night, the Bread&Butter opening ceremony took place at the Luna Park what we didn’t want to miss since old school MTV VJ Ray Cokes hosted this event and The Hives were playing live on stage. Another reason to attend the show was free food and free booze. The show was over at about midnight and we went home to get enough sleep for the opening day of the tradeshow…Remember, all we had at that moment were black walls.
The next day we woke up at 7 AM and went to the tradeshow with all our stuff to complete the DreamTeam booth.

Thanks to Patrick from our mates Wemoto the installing of the white DRMTM foil was not that problematic. It would have been a big mess without Patrick, that’s for sure.

At 10 AM the tradeshow opened their gates for the visitors…I don’t want to report on each day in depth so I will let them pics do the storytelling.
Jason Bass (JB Classics) and Nick (Twelvebar) had a good time in Barcelona.

Our booth neighbors straight out of California: Acrylick. They definitely have a better hand for cameras. Check out their blog for more and better pics of the show.

Gregor from Wemoto, one of the nicest and down to earth guys on the planet though he looks a bit pissed on this pic. Thanks for everything this far. You helped us out a lot on our way. Now go and buy their stuff.

Stefan (Wemoto) and Adrian (Freiraum). I was a bit confused when I met Adrian first cause he looked the same as a long time friend of mine.

New York, New York…Kareem from Lemar and Dauley.

Patrick (Wemoto) is looking at our new styles for spring 2009 while Khaled is looking around.

Official Crown of Laurel booth. Where is Jason? Check the 3M fitteds. Matt, next time you’d better come out to Europe!

Who needs promotion hostesses who get paid a lot to represent your brand on the shows when you can get an official BBB cleaning lady who wears your cap for free representing in the whole Sport and Street Hall!

My man Marco is now sales rep for The Hundreds in Germany. And he seems to be happy with his job.

Our girls while waiting for the G-Star Fashion Show. Can you say Wayfarer?

Fucked up but happy after three days of tradeshow madness. DreamTeam Clothing’s last picture before leaving the location.

Yeaaaah, it’s oooover! Let’s go sleep!

We would like to thank Philipp and Mayra from the BBB team for making all this happen, Trust Nobody (especially Vanessa, Esteban and Tonete) for good parties and free drinks at night, all brands and friends we have met during the show, everybody out there for all your support and love for our brand and of course all the shops who are down with the stuff we’re doing and selling our products.
See you next BBB….And now…SLEEP!

The Subcrew is one of Hong Kong’s most famous streetwearbrands. Maybe after the Hypecrew Mesh Hat, they might be the most famous… Remember Subcrew!? Founded in 2006 with a couple of Caps and Tees, they are now having denim, tees, jackets and much more in their programm.
Beside that they also handle the production of caps for brands like The Hundreds, OBEY, Burton, Haze, Crooks and Castles just to name a few.
Subcrew’s Kobe collected me at the MTR station in Mong Kok and we head up to their office. We hung out and talked a bit…

Kobe Chen rockin our Tee and Hooded!

Lots of hats. Lots of really good hats!

Their colleciotn looked great. Good colorways with good graphics. You gotta keep an eye on it.

Frankie enjoying the Streetwear Today Mag I brought him…

That are just a few hats they’re doing.

Kobe showing me some of their newest tees.

The dinner was really interesting and fun. We had a round table which can be rotated, so everyone can enjoy everything of the Hong Kong Style seafood.

Amy and Monica from New York also joined us at the dinner. These Ladys are responsible for the Bag Design and Product Development of Kid Robot and Gwen Stefani’s brands L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers.

This is shark fin soup. I ate it…

Kobe and KS listening interested…

Monica showing off her L.A.M.B. bag…

It was really cool to talk to KS about the whole urban culture in Hong Kong.

That night was really fun. Thanks to the Subcrew for a superb night in Hong Kong.
